Linda Barnett founded Home Matters, Home Staging & Redesign in early 2004 and today operates one of the most prolific Home Staging companies in Indiana, having serviced over 1,800 clients with 5 design/staging stylists. Linda was trained in 2004 as an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP™) and extended her education in 2007 by becoming SARª Certified and again in 2009 as a Certified Staging Professional CSPª. One of her most celebrated
accomplishments was receiving her RESA-PRO designation. She began her teaching career in 2007 and became an Indiana State certified instructor through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency and the Indiana Real Estate Commission offering certified training to Home Stagers and Real Estate agents.
Linda is also a former Realtor and Interior Decorator and both of those educational backgrounds has served her well in the real estate staging business. Linda served as Technical Editor for the Home Staging for Dummies book, which was released by Wiley Publishing, Inc. in May of 2008. also in 2008, Linda became President of the Indiana State Chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and still holds the position today. Home Matters has received much media coverage from television segments as well as many newspapers and magazines articles. Linda and her teamsÕ extensive body of work earned her a nomination for the 2009, 2011 and 2012 Professional Stager of the Year Awards from the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and have been named ÒBest in ClassÓ Home Staging & Redesign Company by local real estate companies for 2008, 2009 and 2010.
